Types Of Ice Cream Sundaes
A favorite ice cream dessert among many Americans is the sundae. It usually consists of one or two scoops of ice cream topped with a sauce or syrup and other toppings like whipped cream, nuts and cherries. There are a number of US localities which have claimed to be the birthplace of the ice cream sundae including: Evanston & Plainfield, Illinois; New Orleans, Louisiana; Cleveland, Ohio; Buffalo, New York; Ithaca, New York & Two Rivers, Wisconsin.
